An independently operated restaurant in Casa Bagus hotel, this is such a lovely place to sit and eat at any time of day (sadly it’s not open in the evenings). We were staying at the hotel so are here several times. They serve one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in our trip to Mexico. The fruit, yoghurt and granola is off the scale good. Lunch and snacks are equally good. I can particularly recommend the club sandwich. All this served with a smile. A great place to hang out.

The food was incredible! Best guacamole I’ve had on my trip. The tuna was fresh and delicious!! The service was great. Prices are great, especially considering the nearby restaurants.

Chef Oscar and his team prepare fantastic dishes. The best Molletes i’ve ever had and the fish was always so fresh and delicious. This place is inside Casa Bagus open from 08:00-19:00 but anyone can come and eat here. The service is great so friendly and they all speak good English.

Oscar and his team are wizards with fresh fabulous and tasty food. We enjoyed many breakfasts and lunches during our stay and were never disappointed. Oh and the coffee is THE BEST.

Just steps off the beach in San Augustinillo, this place is a total gem! The food, the service and the location were amazing. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all were great. The chef would let us know what fresh fish or ingredients he had that day and make us something special off the menu. The ahi sashimi, the Mahi Mahi ceviche and the delicious breakfast omelettes were just a few of the highlights. They even stayed open late for us one night and made us an incredible spicy shrimp pasta. The drinks are equally good and the prices are great. Couldn’t recommend more!

Fantastic food right on the beach. We got the fish taco, ceviche tostada and guacamole- all were super fresh and delicious! The people that work here were all so friendly. Great spot to relax for a bit if you need a break from the waves.

Lovely staff, right in front of the beach and air conditioned. The place seems clean and well organized. I ordered fish and fries. They were both very oily and a tad salty. Given the limited good dining options I would recommend but will not be going back.

We stumbled upon Oscar’s place for our first lunch in San Agustinillo. The fish and prawns we ordered were so good that we came back twice more for lunch, and another time for breakfast - every single meal was delicious, potentially the best we’ve had during the month we’ve spent on the Oaxaca coast! The service was excellent and very friendly, the views incredible (we spotted whales from our table!) and prices very reasonable. We wish we could go again!
